The UMD Model A120 Series of RFID Control Panels are prefabricated electrical control assemblies for embedding into RFID reading based systems such as RFID Portals and Tunnel Readers. (See UMD Model A123 Series for control box versions.)
The A120 series interconnects RFID Readers, Controllers, Network Devices, Input/Outputs and Power Supplies into a self contained control panel and uses industry standard DIN rail mounting components.
In particular the A120 Series forms the basis of UMD's RFID Advance Controller for Embedded (RACE) applications with the addition of UMD's RACE software.
The Linux based controller is used to control the attached UHF readers and all aspects of the portal system, including RFID data capture, sensor integration, diagnostics, database and communications.
Users may simply browse, using Wifi, to the RACE Dock portal to view diagnostics and basic functionality. Furthermore data capture can be processed prior to transferring to host systems via standard industry web services (REST/Jason).
