The UMD Model 620 PXA Embedded Microcontroller is a low cost programmable controller specifically designed for embedded applications. It is particularly suited to:

• Human Interface Devices (HID) - interfacing to keyboards, displays and i/o
• Interface and Protocol Conversion

The UMD Model 620 PXA Controller includes CPU Module with flash memory and I/O Expansion Board which includes Serial, Digital I/O and expansion bus capability, assembled into one module.

The Controller is based on UMD's Protolink Extended Architecture (PXA) which is a product development platform, that provides flexible and rapid solution development.

ProtoLink is an extremely versatile range of electronic modules and interfaces that can be configured to meet a large range of microelectronic applications, eg. keyboards, terminal devices, interfaces, protocol converters, turnstile controllers, ticketing and entry systems, data logging, industrial controllers, etc.
