The Milesight WS202 PIR and Light Sensor is a motion and occupancy detector to sense presence levels in any room. The combination of PIR detection and light sensors enables the detection of the occupancy and vacancy levels of offices and rooms. Ensure optimal lighting conditions in any environment with the precise measurement from the high resolution 1 lux sensor. Identify movement within 8 metres and send real-time changes via LoRaWAN. Utilise a cloud solution to monitor alarms of the occupancy of rooms from any location. Common use cases include smart homes, offices, schools and warehouses.

Create a smart environment by combining the WS202 with other Milsight Smart Switches to automatically turn on and off lights whenever anyone enters or leaves a room, saving electricity costs. The WS202 has a data transmission range of 15 km in rural areas and 2 km in urban environments. This makes the Milesight PIR and Light Sensor compatible with various industry-standard LoRaWAN gateways. The Milesight D2D (Device to Device) protocol using LoRaWAN enables direct communication without needing a gateway.
