	The UMD KT Series of Keycaps are Relegendable keycaps that are suitable for use with any keyboard using Cherry MX compatible style "Cross Point" keyswitch modules, as used on the UMD, Tipro and Keysource keyboards. Keycap legends can simply be printed on colour paper and inserted under the removable lens or Cover. The KT Series are available in a 1x1 (Single), 1x2 (Dual) or 2x2 (Quad) format. The Dual keycap is designed to sit over 2 MX keyswitch modules, while the Quad keycap is designed to sit over 4 MX keyswitch modules in a 2 x 2 format. A complete Keycap assembly comprises of a Frame which ais the main body of the keycap and sits over an MX style keyswitch. A Cover is then placed over the Frame to complete the assembly. Covers can either be transparent to enable a legend insert (eg. paper square) to be inserted in between the Cover and Frame for custom legending, or Covers with specific pre-printed legends can be ordered. UMD's Technical Standard 117 details the Legend Codes that can used used to identify the legends. Both Frames and Covers can be ordered in any colour combination as defined by the Colour Code.
