The Intermec IP5 is a fixed "smart" RFID reader, able to filter information from tags, monitor external sensors and controls, as well as write back to the tags. The IP5 can be the center of an RFID solution with the ability to monitor sensors, provide visual indications, control peripherals and communicate easily with an existing Ethernet or WiFi infrastructure.
