PCMCIA Data Card to USB Adaptor


The U Series of PCMCIA to USB adaptors consist of three models: U111, U132 and U142 which are specifically designed to interface wireless data cards from telcos via the USB port of their PC or Notebook (as they come with appropriate drivers).

With the addition of a 3G Data Card, this combination is in effect, a USB 3G modem.

With the introduction of "fixed data plans" from the Telcos, wireless broadband connectivity from 3G service providers, becomes a viable alternative. Especially where other broadband service providers are either not reliable, or not available (like ADSL, Cable etc).
