Description

The Seiko Instruments DPU-414 is the ideal portable printer 
for a wide range of commercial and industrial 
applications, including medical monitoring, automotive 
test equipment, retail point-of-sale, field tests and 
measurements, waging and gaming, interactive television, 
consumer products and more. With a rapid printspeed of 52.5/80 cps, the 
DPU-414 is also one of the fastest thermal models on the 
market. Bi-directional and logic-seeking print 
functionality provide even greater speed and efficiency.
Supporting serial or 
parallel communications, the DPU-414 is efficiently 
engineered and exceptionally easy to use, giving you 
plug-and-play simplicity. Print models and communication 
preferences can be conveniently selected or changed using 
the front key panel, or by sending commands from the host 
device. Even replacing the paper rolls is a piece of 
cake, thanks to the DPU-414's new automatic paper load 
feature. 
The DPU-414 boasts a 
longer battery life, with an available Ni-MH rechargeable 
battery that can print up to 1,500 characters on a single 
charge. And its durable design means it's low 
maintenance, with an MTBF exceeding 400,000 character 
lines. It also has well-defined printouts that are easier 
to read, with a 112-millimeter paper width, the widest 
printout available in a compact, portable printer. Plus, 
you can print characters in condensed and enhanced font 
formats.
